Mini-ALTO Stereo Y-cable uses Low-Profile right angle XLR 3-pin Female (2) to a Straight XLR 5-pin male connector. Perfect for use in the Mini-ALTO windshield series with MS pairs, such as the Sennheiser MKH 8030/8040 or Schoeps CMC-41/Mk8. The cables length are 260mm, and therefore designed to be used with the Mini-ALTO in a boom adaptor configuration.
The Y-cable also have a cable plug designed to fit into the cable exit of the Mini-ALTO smiley face, made from an ultra-soft TPE material - for creating a seal around the cable exiting the basket. The cable diameters are a slim 2.1mm yet extremely durable with an ultra-flexible PUR Polyurethane Jacket material that is crush resistant, tear-resistant and cold-resistant.

The Anti-Sway Bar for all sizes RAD mounts & Mini-ALTOs acts as a brace across the RAD Hoops.
This gives the suspension additional structural support, especially useful for longer/heavier microphones. If using softer hoops, it allows great compliance whilst preventing the suspension from swaying too much. This becomes all the more important when mics are being used in the Mini-ALTO - so the mic does not strike the inside of the basket.
