You can get Replacement or Add-On Pods to attached to existing kits for creating additional sizes of Mini-ALTO sized windshields.
Combine your new sized pod halves with the appropriate sized replacement fur windcover to complete the full kit.
These are individual pods only to be used if you already have the other parts to complete a kit. The rear pod can be connected with all sizes of front pods.
NOTE: The polarity on the magnets on the front pods are the same and meant to connect only to a rear pod - so two front pods will NOT magnetically connect together.
This low profile 5-Pin XLR stereo jumper cable is made to fit Mini-ALTO windshield kits and RAD shock mounts. The cable itself is 260mm long and has a 90-degree female XLR connection and straight male XLR connection. The cable length and width are designed to fit in the RAD shock mount cable footings with additional slack for strain relief and repositioning of microphones. The cable also comes fitted with a "blue cable hole plug" for using with a Mini-ALTO.
The smiley face adaptor can be added to any RAD-1, RAD-2 or RAD-3 mount to allow the option for converting the mount into a Mini-ALTO windshield. The adaptor is removable and can also be used pointing in either direction on top of a RAD shock mount.
Mini-ALTO Stereo Y-cable uses Low-Profile right angle XLR 3-pin Female to (2) Straight XLR 5-pin Male ”Y” Mogami W2901 ø2.1mm cables. Pair of MS Double Mic Clips suitable for mounting 19-21mm mic pairs in mid-side stereo configuration. These clips space MS paired mics at a very close 2.5mm apart and have adjustment screws for lower mic clips to get perfect vertical alignment. The Puffer Urchin Lav windshields are made to fit miniature lavalier mics 2-4mm in diameter.
The Puffer Urchins are made from synthetic black fur with a built in foam core for added wind protection. These have a low profile that is approximately 35mm across from end-to-end.
Puffer Urchins provide great protection for outdoor ENG interviews or other situations where the lav mics are exposed to more wind. These also have a unique blue "safety strap" which holds the fur firmly in place.

This low profile 3-Pin XLR jumper cable is made to fit all RAD shock mounts. The cable itself is 275mm long and has a 90-degree female XLR connection and straight male XLR connection. The cable length and width are designed to fit in the RAD shock mount cable footings with additional slack for strain relief and repositioning of microphones.
RAD Mount boom adaptor with 360 XLR holder can be purchased as a replacement for a RAD-1/2 or to convert a RAD-3 mount into a a boom mount without the handle.
Boom adaptor works with all RAD mounts. Simply screw on using the thumbwheel attached to the RAD top bracket.
